New addition to the fleet for 2009 is “Coon Pop” a 27 Ft. Boston Whaler owned and operated by Captain Shannon LaBauve. This boat is equipped with a restroom , salt and fresh water wash down, 2 gps units, radar, bottom machine, automatic epirb, tournament outriggers and 245 gallons of fuel capacity.

Captain Shannon La Bauve is a licensed Captain by the U.S.C.G. and is registered with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department as a licensed Fishing Guide. In addition, he holds current Reef and Pelagic Species permits from NOAA and HMS Charter/Headboat permit.

Jetty Trips (Galveston North and South Jettys)
Fish for Speckled Trout, Redfish, Bull Redfish, Shark, Kingfish, Ling. These trips are minutes from the boat ramp and nearly offer 365 days of solid inshore fishing. Trips offered for one, two, and three boat combination trips.
Near Shore (5-15 miles)
Fish for Shark, Tarpon, Ling and Kingfish on the Galveston Beach Front from High Island to the San Luis Pass. Target rich environment for big Sharks, Monster Tarpon, Ling and Kingfish. Fishing normally good when the water temperature is above 68 degrees. Best times April 1 st thru December 31 st.
Offshore (20-50 miles)
Fish for Red Snapper, Kingfish, Ling, Shark. Year round fishing depending on the closure of some species.
Offshore (50-100 miles)
Fish for Wahoo, Amberjack, Red Snapper, Grouper, Yellowfin Tuna, Kingfish, Sailfish, Marlin, Swordfish and Ling. When the weather permits this fishing is good year round.
